Black Queens Matter is more than a movement—it’s a community-driven force dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black excellence. Our mission is rooted in advocacy, service, and creating opportunities for connection and growth. Through initiatives that touch every aspect of our community, we are proud to celebrate and support Black women, men, and children while amplifying the voices of Black-owned businesses.

Community Advocacy and Empowerment

Our work goes far beyond events. We are committed to creating spaces where Black voices can thrive:

• Black Kings Matter: Dedicated spaces to empower and support Black men, fostering strength, leadership, and unity.
• Black Kids Matter: Advocacy for the next generation is at the heart of what we do. Through this initiative, we focus on:Providing resources for scholarships to help children access educational opportunities.
  Offering guidance on job preparation to equip teens and young adults with the skills they need to succeed.
  Sharing curated summer readiness lists to help families make the most of their summer, from educational activities to fun, enriching experiences.
  Sending children to summer camps that promote confidence, leadership, and community pride.
  
• Cooking Clubs: Promoting self-sufficiency, culture, and connection through culinary experiences designed to bring people together while celebrating heritage.

National Initiatives and Black-Owned Business Support

At the core of our work is a commitment to uplifting Black-owned businesses:

• Black Queens Brunch: Our signature national event celebrates sisterhood while supporting Black-owned restaurants across the country. These gatherings not only provide an uplifting space for connection but also pour resources back into our community.
• Empowering Black Women Entrepreneurs: Through our upcoming trips, swag bags, and soon-to-be-launched subscription service, we’ll spotlight and promote Black women-owned businesses, ensuring their products and services reach a wider audience.

Our Apparel Line & Partnership with Gritty Apparel

Fashion is a powerful tool for expression, and Black Queens Matter extends its impact through our exclusive apparel line. In partnership with Gritty Apparel, a Black-owned brand also founded by our founder, GySgt Tee Hanible, we create bold, empowering designs that celebrate resilience, strength, and Black excellence.

From everyday wear to exclusive collections featured in our swag bags and upcoming subscription service, our fashion line serves as a symbol of unity and pride.
